Cahore / wexford

Tried the north beach at Cahore yesterday 7/5/05- have not been out since early Feb!! High tide was forecast for 20.00 fished from 17.30-21.00. armed with crab / mackerel and frozen sandeel. there was a northernly wind and the sea was virtually flat.

was hoping for smoothhound / thornbacks but could not get past the dogfish - caught 8 in total using a long distance pulley rig and a 4/0 hook.
