rig making?!

#1 Post by daminim »

right, just bought a load of bits and peices for making my own rigs; beads, swivels, line, tubing etc. Des in southside gave me a few pointers and showed me some knots. Anyone know of any sites with good instructions on making your own rigs with step by step guides? Never made any before, so gone are the days of buying ready mades!!! 8)

another way to do it is, buy some quality rigs and copy them.also read some of the posts in here as the lenghts of the snoods can vary depending on the conditions fished. another good site for rigs is www.planetseafishing.com.

Mike Thrussels rig section in the TSF magazine is excelent, he shows how to tie a new rig each month with exact lengths and concise instructions.
