People:myself and kaylemf

Duration:3 hours ish

Tide:dropping

Weather:massive wind, 120km/hr to be precise! rain..

Bait:mack and squid

Rigs:flappers and cliped downs

Results:kaylemf: blank
myself: whiting

Report:arrvied at the beach to find a huge amount of weed, it was everywhere! said id give it a go.. 1 minute after i cast the line was covered in weed all the way up the line nearly dragging the rod of the tripod, same was happening to kaylem so we decided to move, all the beaches were covered it so we ended up on the slipway with massive waves pounding over the rocks, exciting stuff :D :D we both tried fishing in close and out far(ish haha) nothing was working and the 5 oz grippers werent holding for a second, kaylem lost two rigs while i just was hauling in weed. Idecided to fish the open side of the slipway directly into the wind, could hardly stand, casting was nearly impossable but i knew it was my only hope of avoiding a blank! used a flapper with a 6 oz gripper at about 30 yards out, nothing untill my last cast where i got a double shot of whiting! small but delighted to avoid the dreaded blank!glad i stuck it out to avoid the blank! left after the double, suprisingly a happy lad haha
