Ian Golds Igloo Shelter

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Yes i have the proto type on test for the last three months and they are brilliant much more room than Ron Thomson and easier to erect. They don't have that awful hockey stick bend at the end it makes them easier for transportation, they are also much more aerodynamic in windy conditions and two people can easily be accommodated side by side which make's it great if you have a junior or your partner with you.
I think they will be on sale in this country very shortly there is a big demand for them in the uk where they are waiting for them to come in also.

The simple answer is they are miles ahead of the ron thompsons. I have a ron thompson at the moment but not for much longer 8)

In my opinion i could not justify spending double the price of a ron thompson shelter for an item that does the same job.I am not saying there is anything wrong with the ian golds shelter, but like i say thats just my opinion.

I have from a reliable source that the when the new ron thomson shelter comes in stock it will retail at £80, i don't think that's double the price.

I used my initiative and looked it up on veals, and they have them priced at £99.99 so Ian must have given them a price.

The factor for a lot of people will be the timing, the winter and bad weather are here, but th igloo isn't, and I won't be buying 2 shelters so I know which one I'm using,
