I went down and fished in wicklow harbour today, not on the piers but in the town area.Good few fish including coalies whiting and codling along with loads of crabs 
It was a good spot for the day that was in it as i was able to fish out of the back of the van and dodge the heavy showers.I had a look at a few beaches localy but they had huge breakers on them and the sea was full of weed, so fishing in the harbour was both comfortable and safe.
