clogga or clones ?

#1 Post by stevo74 »

hi,
Gonna try one of these spots tommorrow for first time to see if I can tempt a Bass. Gonna do some lure & bait fishing. Anyone fishing these spots recently and if so any reports/tips?

cheers
Steve

Not sure about Clones but Clogga is a good spot. Go all the way over to the right side until you get to the very end where you can lure for Bass from the rocks. I haven't fished there this year but last year it was fishing OK, I was walking along the beech there yesterday and there was a lovely surf rolling in.
And watch out for the car in the car park, there's always broken glass on the ground!

cheers Fred. I kinda made my mind up on Clogga anyhow-like the look of it for lure fishing from rocks and then a bit of bait fishing from beach when it gets dark. thanks for the tip on the car park too!
