ballybunion area

#1 Post by SKIP »

hey lads, im heading down to listowel this week working and im going to bring the rods. I intend on heading over to the
ballybunion area a couple of the evenings/nights to fish and would appreciate any info on areas that fish well. I have a bucket of peelers so i'll probably try for bass and flounders if i can find any decent areas. Any info would be great lads and if anyones up for a bass session just give us a shout, :D

fish the mens strand half way between the castle on the right and the black rocks on the left. you are fishing a good surf beach that fishes best after dark on a dropping tide. a recon during the day is not necc. just fish straight down from the life gaurd building. good parking too. park at the steps down. let me know hou you get on.
