Tide:low tide 3.00

Weather:nice and calm

Bait:rag mussel pouting fresh macks

Rigs:sabikis hokais white feathers

Resultsmackeral whiting small codling haddock pollock and pouting:

Report:another day out on empty howth the only boat out fishing again to day only seen 2 yachts for the whole day
we went straight to the spot where we saw all the pollock on monday armed with rag and mussel dont know what there
eating but we dident have it again to day got 3 on the sabikis all small we decided to head out to the kish and try there. on the way out the fishfinder should a lot of fish below stopped and straight in to a shoal of small codling started to drift and this produced plenty of mackeral and some pouting strange mix macks and pouting on the same rigs we then decided to stay drifting as the fish although small were coming to us with gusto 5 at a time and then macks still quite a few around
filling in between all in all it was another good days fishing with about 150 fish been caught[most of them minis]
43 macks we did have 2 rods out baited with mussel rag and mackeral but again no dogs and we were in 120ft of water most of the day and was sure we would have got some. second day no doggies must be all gone on holiday
it was dark when we finished useing the bait up the whiting helped us clean the hooks there like pirrannas with rag and mussels but enjoyed every minute of the day hope this weather holds for at least another week no winds such comfort

good report there twinkle by the sounds of things you had a busy day
By your reports looking for the dogs it seems you do most of your fishing for them on the drift  if you sling your hook (put the anchor down) you should have no problem catching dogs and the like, fish your baits hard on the bottom
