Duration: early

Tide: the ebb

Weather: calm calm calm :P

Bait: crab, mack, rag and feathers

Rigs: -

Results: 20+ codling to 3lbs, pollock, wrasse to 4lb, pouting, whiting, dogfish, dabs, scorpian fish , poor cod

Report: fished around the local reefs today, plenty of fish, 19 codling from 1 1/2 lbs to just over 3lb, happy days. fresh fish for diner for tonight, neighbours where happy with a few fish also. some nice wrasse too.

we didnt try for em john, masterkeane picked up a stray, doloris was saying there was plenty around now

after meeting eric last nigh to give him some loverly meat for his din, the plan was put in place for him to scive of collage and come out in the boat, masterkeanne didnt need much persuasion either :D
it was great to see so many codling about, ill be spoiled for dinner tonight mmmmmm

the codling and macks arrived the weekend before last when they took the hire boats up for the winter :lol: :lol: :lol: few codling shown on some of the wrecks aswell :wink:

hope ya kept some meat for my dinner :lol: hope to get out from shore tomorrow to see if i can bag a couple of cod and maybe a sneaky bass. well done lads looks like a lovely session

well done lads wasent it great to be out and so calm and not to hot just perfect we hit a lot of small codling 4 to 6 inches they kept filling the feathers over in howth that must be the mammies you were getting lol

Just thinking about this one lads.

It might be a good idea to keep your locations vague, keep the info flowing via PM. Cod are a very scarce resource and there have not been many about in the last few years. We don't need what's left of them being cleaned out. And please remember C&R for Cod as well.
