i find there are a few good spots in cork for cod and conger here is a list of plaices to try baits and rigs depending on destination.
*carlio pier white gate for codling 2 hook pat bait crab or lug
*monkstown wall for cod running pennel rig crab and any worm at low tide.
*monkstown pier for cod any rig crab and any worm at high tide
*ballywilling by the slip left or right 2 hook pat crab and lug for cod
*cobh deep water quay for conger any where right up to the bridge use a boat rod and reel makral and squid and a wire trace
*monkstown just before the tunnel for conger wire trace makral and squid for bait hope this helps a bit if you want to know any more places to fish just pm me and ill tell you a few more secret ones
