Report

Thought I would try this place out as I not been here before, and knew there were a beach or 2 around, I set up on Aughris beach and had 3 casts but was plagued with small Durrus type weed ripping the rod off the tripod.. so packed that it in.

Went to the headland and fished off the rocks, with a float was quiet with only a couple of bites until dusk then the floodgates opened and the smallish pollack were coming thick and fast the sandeel wasnt settling and the float was under dont know how many pollack I had lost count but had 4 nice pollack around a couple of pound and 2 large Macks which duly came home with me.

Had a really enjoyable session and was good to be in the fish for second time this week :D :D
