Vessel:shock-waves

Crew:eddie,ivan ,me

Duration:9 till 6

Tide:low

Weather:sunny but breezey

Bait:mac ,dubby

Rigs:large shark rigs

Results:one blue for eddie
we started out of tramore around 9 am slight delay eddie had a friend with him ivan we tryed for macs out a the metal man there were scarce mostly joeys went out a few miles tryed again few more better one along with joeys we were in 170 ft of water swells were ok wind strong went to 200 odd foot of water dubby out 3 rods set i stayed plugging away with uptider rod for macs and whiting had a few 1.30 mins eddies rod got a short run we all pirked up then a long run i reeled in the other rods got the deck clear after 10 to 15 mins eddie landed a fine blue shark between 70 and 80 lbs few pics taken tag in and released we went thru 4 more buckets of dubby and 70 odd mac chumming but no more runs headed back in after 5 to 6 hours we had drifted around 4 miles weather did settle conditions were perfect just sharks were not around but good craig we tryed to get fresh mac had a few but no great numbers or sizes roll on next day

nice shark....we had a few big ones ourselves. they seem to be running later in the last few years...
