UCC 4/10/09

#1 Post by round_ourway »

With a babysitter ordered a month in advance I finally made a Ulster Casting Club meet.
Great bunch of lads and very welcoming. So with some homework I will be back up again in a months time. Thanks to all the lads for all the help and advice.
well I thought I was hitting about 150 yards. That turned out to be about 130yards. I got a personal best of 186 yards with an OTG on the day using a fixed spool. That's just under 60 yards with a couple of hours tution. So you can see why I will be back!! Again great bunch of lads and have a lot of time for ya.
also actually seeing someone cast 250 yards is class!!
Thanks again
Stevie

I know, it actually felt good not having to clean all the gear.

I was out yesterday practising. I'm still coming over the top rather than the side.
