wicklow mark sunday 4th Oct

#1 Post by finding nemo »

A gang of us are heading out on Sunday and were going to hit one of the wicklow spots but cant decide which one. Are 5 mile point, Ennereilly or north beach fishing well at the moment. Prob going down round 4-10. what might we expect to catch and preffered baits for this area?

Thanks in advance.

Rob,

if those winds pick up dont bother going to any of the Wicklow beaches you will be just reeling in balls of weed all day long. ennerilly could be alright but ye might be as good just fishing Wicklow Harbour.

Agree with samo, at least in wicklow harbour youll get a few fish and wont be reeling in tonnes of weed.Mackeral and rag would be the baits id bring and dont be afraid to lob a bait out only a couple of feet from the wall.
