Sea angling castlegregory

#1 Post by evan699 »

Sorry about the last few posts. I posted one and it didn't work. Posted another and it turned up as 3 and none of them worked.

anyway,
Going fishing in castlegregory on the dingle peninsula. I'm gonna take a shot at bass, ray, wrasse and flatties. The bass mark is a surf beach with clean bottom and clear water. Would bait fishing or spining/plugging be better at this time of year. Also does anyone know what stage of the tide fishes best on brandon bay for bass or around sandy bay and trench for ray.

Thanks
Species 2014: whiting, coalie, pouting, codling, pollack, ballan wrasse, dab, poor cod, mackerel, grey gurnard, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse, launce, common skate, bass, scad, garfish, blue shark

Species 2015: Ballan wrasse, poor cod, pollack, ling, flounder, turbot, mackerel, whiting, lsd, dab, grey gurnard, pouting, cuckoo wrasse, cod
