Re: what lures to use?
Welcome to the forum, new here myself
A red flying c with silver blade can be quite good sometimes. Else a pick amongst the hundreds of lures available:
Surface lures: Patchinko, Chug Bug
Sub surface: Maria chase, Yo Zuri cristal minnow, Feed shallow, Zonk ...
Spinners: Can't beat the ol' Kilty or use some of those Tobys
Plastic: Xlayer
The choice is endless but the wallet isn't

Re: what lures to use?
I have had great success with Xlayers over the last month.
Asturie is a great surface lure - I have had much more success with that than the Pachinko.
