Hi Lads
Hope to be going up to the shannon the weekend of 6th 7th 8th may for some fishing any marks fishing well my left leg is in plaster so a pier with little or no walking would be great any ideas.

Hi Angus,
There are three pier type marks to choose from.
1. Tarbert Pier - Good for conger, doggies and possibly some huss. Has to be fished on the flood. Not a hope of holding bottom on the ebb.
2. Kilteery Pier - Posibilities of ray, doggies, whiting and flaties here. Best fished on an evening flood if possible.
3. Foynes Pier Trailer park - Conger the only option here and only at slack water. The conger go to ground when the crabs come out!!
Baits to use would be mackeral, squid and sandeel.
