Crew: me & Glen
Duration: 8am-4pm
Tide: High and falling
Weather: nice
Bait: Macks
Rigs: Tope & animal traces
Results: dogs & tope
Jaysus lads had an awful day there on friday the fishing was painfully slow we had 2 pup tope and a handful of dogs. We were down a couple of weeks ago and we countless tope, smoothies, rays and dogs. This time round even the dogs were thin on the ground and for cahore thats almost unbelievable! Has anyone has similar results lately?

Re: Cahore 18/09/09
i think the big tides over the last few days wont help.
i was offshore on friday same kind of results best fish 10lb-11lb and 12lb huss pestered by dogs.
inshore yesterday not much better lots of dogs 2 macks
and plenty of ok whiting also had a 1lb grey gurnard not bad up this way. a few friends were down in kilmore on saturday didnt do much good either.
i think next weekend might fish better.
