Fladen or Imax flotation

#1 Post by Wozza »

Just thought I;d ask what peoples opinion is.

Im gonna buy a flotation for use on Shore and also to use on my lil boat and wondered what people think, I cant make up me mind on which one to get as both seem good and with the yoyo being strong against the english shilling (90 c = 1 GBP) thought now was time to buy

Is one better than other ie better to protect against wind rain or should I go with Fladen 2 piece as I found one for 69.95 GBP on fleabay plus post of course

all opinions gratefully recieved :)

Have the imax flotation suit myself, cant compare the two, but i can say the imax is excellent quality, and keeps you warm and dry in the coldest wettest weather,,,pull up the hood and youre nicely cocooned against everything nature can throw at you:wink:

I used a Penn for abt 4 yrs and was well pleased with it, just bought a Sunridge 2piece £80 today. Nice and light so should be easier to skip over rocks.

Some sound advice from the lads above there

yoyo being strong against the english shilling (90 c = 1 GBP)

But I'd check your figures again :!: .......£1 = €1.18 (approx), but more like €1.20 once you've paid the currency exchange fee/commission with your c/card company.

Maybe you just got 'em the wrong way round

Thanks lads

Well I did ask for opinions and hadnt even considered any others but I think I go with the Fladen. I made a mistake with the price its only 64.99 GBP not 69.99 so even cheaper and if it dont work out then it aint a lot of dosh to throw away.

Im sorry to say that I need to get best value I can and 71 euro isnt bad if doug in shore thing could match then I would happily go there. Its cheaper 9 times outa 10 to pay postage than drive 60 mile each way

Thats not bad going wozza, that works out to €1.13 to £1.

I bought something in the UK a week ago, and got charged nearly €1.2 for each £1, but I guess some of that is because I sent the money by bank transfer and included the bank fees.

Eitherway wozza it is a great time to be buying in the UK and good luck with whichever suit you go for.
