Report:as jason had missed the last session,we decided to try out a new mark that had been recommended, were set up by 2pm and as there has been a few reports about fish caught on earthworms i had dug some lovely tiger worms! As this is a deep water rock mark we set up float rigs and baited up with earthworms!! within minutes i caught a nice wrasse a pb for me this year then jason got into the act and caught one too the earthworms worked!!as the floats were fishing, jason went feathering for macks, first cast full house so naturually i started feathering too,an hour later with thirty or so mack caught and a few more wrasse too, we changed tack and started looking for other species, conger and pollock,we had no luck with the conger, but a few small pollock were caught on lures we then moved marks and went to a pier mark looking for something different, bad decision!!all we got was a doggie bashing session!jason even had one on a float rig!!there were a few huss there as well, last cast of the night i got into a BIG huss and got a great scrap out of him,but as i was lifting him up the pier the snood broke and he was lost he then preceded to swim just under us for about five minutes with a sand bottom to show his profile, what a fish he was!well into double figures Win some lose some i suppose!!
