fished 2 1/2 hours with crab lug mackerel live prawn and not a pull? :?

Booner,
Surprised you didn't get any wrasse especially if you were using lugworm. At the very front of the pier there is a ledge with a lot kelp on it, cast beyond this on to sand and wind back in as close to the swaying kelp as you dare - shouldn't be long before a wrasse nips out and takes your worms. Wrasse definetly are back on the ground, was talking to divers during the week and they are seeing them.

had a float working rocks with live prawn, live whitebait and crab, used lug and crab out on clearer ground thinking of flatties :? . still, got plenty of bait which will come in useful.
