is 30-50lb class ok for tope
and what lb line :?:

best fish 2010: 25lb conger eel

SPECIES 2011:= 2 species of rockling, colaie,codling whiting,pollock,gurnanrd,throback ray,grey gurnard
best fish 11 7 pound thornback ray

12 - 20lb or 20 - 30lb would be better choices. 30 - 50lb rod would be more aimed at larger sharks or Skate.

25 - 30lb Mono should be fine. Where will you be fishing?

for some unknown reason tope seem not to be present in cork. One area that would be good
this time of year would be in a boat near greystones. From the shore you are looking at
putting in huge effort

I like to use an uptide rod, often it is useful to cast the bait and the soft action helps cushion
the load during the fight. A 7000 sized multiplier spooled with 25lb mono would be good.

10/0 owner circle hook, 18 inches of biting trace of 100lb wire and I use a 6 yard rubbing leader
of 60lb mono
