caught another weird specious fish

caught another weird specious today out in dun laoghaire on my boat on mac feathers its about foot and half long yellow spiky tail large eyes large wing like fins and it was making grunting noises
any ideas what it is. looks like some sort of fling fish!
i have video and pics of it will put them up soon

na its defo not a Gurnard ie caught lots of Gurnard. dont have time to ut the picture up yet. ive never seen one of thease in 27 years of fishin

im tinking now it could be a blue runner or yelow mackerel
caught around brazil
was on to the fisheries board

i caught something like that years ago and a guy told me the name its something like .......fish they are normally found in hot water area,s .if i think of the name i will post it have you any other picture,s of it

looks like a scad with them big eyes looking back at you :wink:
has it got a boney lateral line on its tail end :?:

its just a scad as john said, fairly common fair this time of year, often caught while fishing for macks
