Welldone on the catch Neil, shame last night was such a poor one.

Who'd have thought it, 20 odd anglers, 30+ rods, god knows how many baits, and no smoothies.

There were 3 ray caught though, so it wasnt all bad for some

I couldn't believe that no one caught a smoothie last night especially given the number of people out there. I should have walked down to you to say hello but I was right up the other end and feeling a little lazy. How did you get on yourself?

2 flounder, biggest around 30cm, 1 whiting, 1 coalie.

But sure, you cant have it all your own way, much luck yourself Dave ?

Was thinking I might get a lure session in for the bass over the weekend, you fancy it ?

Nah I got much the same as yourself 3 dabs and a whiting but by the sounds of things I'm glad I didnt blank. I'd love to do a bit of lure fishing but I don't think I'm going to be able to get out this weekend, I've got to earn some brownie points with the missus after I spent most of the week fishing and have intentions of another trip next week.

Thats pretty much it Roger, I can't believe no one caught a smoothie last night. Yeah that was me alright, I was the same as yourself, kept meaning to go up for a chat but then there would be a little nod on one of the rods. We'll have to have a chat next time, put a face to the name and all that.
