Cheap Fishing Bits

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Cheap Fishing Bits

#1 Post by dillon_the_rabbit »

Hi Guys.

I popped into Lidl in Blanchardstown yesterday to pick up some batteries, and they have a special this week on fishing bits and bobs. Some of it is pretty crap stuff, ie poor quality, but I picked up a pair of chest waders for €20. They're nothing special, just plain rubber ones. I also picked up a fish finder for €45. I dunno if its gonna be any good, but even if it just tells me the depth of water I'm fishing in from the boat, its paid for itself.

They are doing other bits, ie thigh waders, rod and reel sets (crap) seats, fishing shelters, bite alarms etc. have a look http://www.lidl.ie/ie/index.nsf/pages/c ... 0418.index

It could be worth a look for those of you on a budget, or those who are just plain tight (like me! )

Have fun :)
