Duration:8.15 -12.15
Tide:1 hr before low
Weather:very mild with clear sky
Bait:king rag,mack,peeler and sand eels
Rigs:pennels and long distance rigs ,2 hook flappers
Results:The Kaiser, one Bull Huss just under 9lbs on the northside too and 3 dogs and me 2 dogs better than a blank.
Report:Hit our mark just after 8 and quickly set up been hitting this same spot for last couple of weeks now with no results well actually the kaiser dropped a nice bass on the rocks just as he was about to land him
And as just baiting up my next rig for later ,the kaiser roars im on to a fish as he s reeling in he thinks it s a smoothie or possibly a bass ,as his catch got closer to shore i did the old man a favour of droppin down to the lower rocks to help land as i then discovered it was a Bull Huss which he thought was about 5lb and which i said was well closer to 10 lb.so we dropped th fish into a rock pool as we scrambled back to the car to get a camera and scales .
As we waited for henry we both hit into a dog each and knew we were in for one of those nights.(who let the dogs out)
Camera and scales soon arrived with the Huss coming in at 8 ,11 and a half not bad for a nights work. Some snaps were taking which im sure some might spot soon enough in Henrys.
Countinued on for a while with some more dogs and numerous monster bites and knew we couldnt improve on the Bull Huss so retired with the prospect of hitting this mark again tomorrow/tonight
Just to wrap things just want pass on congrats to Tony he went home a very happy man always nice to see someone smiling.
Will post up phone pics soon.
