Low water marks from DLaoghaire to Greystones & The ban

#1 Post by John D »

Hello everybody.

I want to head out for a couple of hours tomorrow with my dad and my daughter.

Just a quick session with a couple of rag, nothing amazing.

The only time I can get out is two hours after high water.

Does anyone know any marks that fish relatively okay regardless of tidal state (or more likely to be nearer low water) for any species really. I just want to show my daughter a couple of fish. Little wrasse, pollock, pin whiting - whatever!

Oh and does anybody know if that ban on angling in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Co.Council actually go ahead?

Thanks,
John D.
Protect the magical sport of sea angling and spread the word that conservation is the way forward. Put fish back!!!!

Whiterock fishes best on the drop, should be a few flounder around, 3 hook flapper, rag, mack 5-25 yard cast is all ye need.

Hope this helps.
