Dropper Rig

#1 Post by round_ourway »

Has anyone used them and had much succes on them. I have started to use them recently and tried a clipped down 2 hook version. They are getting fish but about 30% of the time they were coming back tangled and unclipped. The fella that showed me the rig uses a 1 hook version and has great success with it. I wouldnt mind using it during comps so 2 hooks for the obvious reasons. anyway any views would be appreciated. cheers stevie

if you want to use more than 1 hook on the dropper rig try making a wishbone dropper rig. ive used these with good success for plaice and dogs and they dont get tangled that much. i wouldnt use the dropper rigs over any type of rough ground however.
