Cheers Eric, does it have to be a rising tide? that might be a problem.

I fished teh North Beach on Friday and it was heaving with Whiting and Dogs. For Smoothies you could try Ennereilly or South Beach Arklow. Have picked up some there this year.

if the sea is reasonably flat ennarielly has a decent few on it fish around hw for best results the futher you cast the better your chances peeler and razor top bait with rag 3rd choice pully or up and over rigs best choice for distance work, good luck and hope the weather gods are good to ya

As a matter of interest i have caught 4 hounds in the past few weeks around the wexford beaches on rag alone putting 4 or 5 rag on a size 3/0 pulley. Was fishing with fresh and frozen peeler and these were untouched. The fish ranged from 4.5lbs to one 8.5 lbs.

Your spot in bigsod, plenty of Wexford marks where worm baits out fish everything else for the Hounds.
