GRUPPO TETRAMAX CO-POLYMER LINE

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

GRUPPO TETRAMAX CO-POLYMER LINE

#1 Post by Nursi »

I've been using this line in 12lb for the last few months. It's really pretty damn good and does what it says in the blurb. Good knot strength: I haven't had a break at a knot yet. Good casting - it's super shmooooth to the touch. Not too sure on the 'no memory' bit of the advert, tho it's as good as other 'no memory' lines out there. It has this cool fluorescent glow at dusk/dawn which helps you see where it hits the water. They say it's coated in fluorocarbon and disappears underwater; not having been swimming with my goggles on and not having fish eyes  I can't qualify that! At £6/270yds (sorry, haven't got euros on my compooter) it's cheap enough too. :D

do you know the diameter of your 12lb line? or even better the diameter of the 15lb line. I might be interested in giving this one a try.

Sorry for no replies folks, just back from my hols in Ireland! I'm not sure of the diameter, the only place I've seen it on sale is www.rodringsandthings.co.uk - where I bought it. Ill put the micrometer to it tomorrow, the 12 lb that is, dunno about the 15
