Ling tips & techniques?

#1 Post by markj »

Has anyone got any good tips for targeting ling specifically from the boat? I have had them before on jelly worms will spinning for pollock and mackeral flappers for conger, but they just seem to be random catches. What works best?

If you're fishing the drift try a flutter spoon off a 1 metre snood and boom. You can buy the spoons of make your own - http://www.planetseafishing.com/tutoria ... ter-spoon/

Lengths of stainless band-it or wall ties also work well.
