Re: carlingford lough
might be hard to get anyone revealing marks or info regarding bass in carlingford mate as it's a bit of a guarded secret by the lads who fish it. they are there, and are caught on the north side by some lads on the site. but like i said it's all kept a bit hush, hush. i was looking a bit of info myself, but like i said. it's all kept a bit quiet which is understandable due to the fact that commercial fishermen use sites like this to find where high value fish are moving around at and then blitz the area
(and not forgetting the illegal netters too). some of the lads have had bad experiences revealing marks come back to bite them in the ass in the past. my best advice is to look for habitats that suit them in the area and just go out and give it a go. you might not get your target species, but you'll get something
