Help finding marks

#1 Post by Nursi »

Hi , I've just joined your forum. Me and the missus will be travelling over to Ireland for a travelling holiday this week. I wonder if anyone could give me any ideas for a few marks, maybe in the Galway bay, Dingle and around Cork areas? As I've never caught a bass ( there aren't many in the South of the Isle of Man!) I'd appreciate any info on where to catch the fellas (don't worry, I'm not into massacreing stocks!!!) I'll be fishing off rocks, piers etc.
Any help would be great,
Nursi

Try bob moss's book 'a guide to shore angling on the dingle peninsula'. you occasionally get bass off Fenit pier around low tide lug is the best bait don't cast far. there was a fishing spot section on the site but I cannot find it now. also the cfb site has a list. Really you need to try the beaches on Dingle peninsula.
