Anyone used or got one of these rods? Your thoughts or reviews are much appreciated.

Also anywhere that stocks them?

Cheers.

alright mate. I got the new supermatch there. didnt get a chance to use it at the weekend. really impressed by it. Give me a month or two to give it a decent trail. I got mine out belfast angling centre. They matched the lowest price on the internet. They have a sport, ld, match, lite and a kompressa as well.

Cheers Thornie appreciate that, have yet to hear a bad review on them, I've got a Kompressor S that needs company on the Century shelf in that attic. The shelf is just across from the black reel section below the silver and green reel shelf!

Red handgrips on a rod when ur wearin a red smock now that's nice!

PM'd you a pic Roger! :D Ohh and stop deep breathing down the phone to me and hanging up!

There is only one thing that does bug me about the rod. why didn't they finish the rings in gold the male section as well as the female section. I was out yesterday givng it a blast, a very nice action on it. seems quite forgiving

I tried out this rod whilst in the UK last week and was suitably impressed with it.
The tip isn't as light as the super match and the butt has plenty of power to belt out a lead a very long way.

I was casting with a 150 gram lead and ABU 6500 CT with the mags on full and was able to belt it across the river Tyne down near the B.A buildings in a cross wind.
The tip reacted well in the strong tidal flow of the river and I would imagine that bite detection would be good based on the short test.

I have taken some video footage and will try and post it up as soon as I can organise it as work will now slow down my casting & fishing as i have to pay off the trip.

Top rod, good tip with plenty of power to send a baited rig a long way. the slimmer diameter butt comapre to the SS & S makes it easy to grip the spool of the reel for those of us who don't have big hands.

Regards
