I packed in with about a half an hour to go because my arms were cramped and couldn't hold my rod any more. However there was fish caught with tommy fogarty blitzing it with 6 doggies fair play i also heard he had a treble doggie on one cast so take it out of that. thomas keogh won zone A with 3 dogs, and would you believe it i won zone B with a dog and a gurnard, and of course tommy fogarty won zone C. longest round was a split between brian gildea and ian knight with a gurnard 34cm and longest flat was another split between richie gormanly and another????. with a flat of 28cm.

was pegged next to mr fogarty, he also dropped a dog as they wave engulfed it :shock: was a bloody nightare with over an hour to go i walked off, couldnt handle the weed. only had the one dog meself :x

must admit i luved every minute of it, wind, rain and a bucketload of weed. can it get any better :D
shore species 2008(25):dogfish(3.1lbs), bull huss (12lb 2oz), bass, shore rockling, coalie, whiting, pollack, conger (22.4lbs),flounder, thick lipped mullet (4.8lbs),turbot,ling (11.2lbs),ballan wrasse(4.5lbs), cuckoo wrasse, pouting, poor cod, cod (9.5lbs), dab, 3 bearded rockling, long spined scorpion fish, corkwing wrasse, plaice, trigger fish, sea trout, garfish

I've no photographs. The mountain of dead sea weed at my peg was quite shameful ( so eric said). :shock: And I didn't catch anything. Hard going- there was a short enough window where I was hopeful of getting a fish, but no joy.

I asked Leinster Recorder not to forward results on to me until I get back from holidays. When I receive them, and I have some free time, I'll update Leinster site.
