Plug weight?

My spinning rod is rated to cast 20 to 60 g, i have bought a yo zuri crystal minnow off of ebay but just noticed its only 11 g will this be impossible to cast?? I use 20 lb powerpro braid if thats any help!

I'd say it won't be easy particularly with a bit of wind but it can be done. Watch out for nests though: close the bail arm (?) with your hand and place the line on the roller (?) with your hand again before you start reeling back in (I do this automatically now every single time and haven't had a nest since I started doing it). Change to a heavier spinner/jig for a few casts after while to tighten up the line on the reel and back to lighter lures. You could also try using 12 or 15 lb line to gain a few yards. That said you don't need to cast to the horizon to catch say bass. Very often they will be a lot closer to you than you think. It's just hard to believe and even harder to fish accordingly !

Thanks for that fortunatly the guy im buying off of is amazing and changed it for a 27 g one , delighted amazing service normally guys oin ebay try and shaft you and make everything awkward but not this guy, pm me if you want his shop details, great service.
