There'll be plenty of room if they are fishing the whole of the Shannon! Any idea which mark??

Is this a closed comp or is it open to the locals also?

Considering I've blanked every session in the brine this year I doubt if I would be any threat to some match lads but seeing as I've fished both marks and neither are a million miles from home it might be a bit of craic. Never done a fishing comp before though.

only efsa members can fish. membership is €55 for the year i think. and then entry fees are about €30 per day. payout is 100%

No chance for a local yokel so.

Was looking at their rules online. I thought motorsport was complicated but its rules and regs are simple compared to those.

I'd be interested to know how the comps go. No one seems to fish glin. I've only met another angler in Glin once and never see anyone fish it when I pass but saying that I only see other anglers out on this side of the Estuary on sunny Sunday afternoons on piers. I only ever get dogs and straps from glin and from what I hear Ballylongford always fishes poor for the Tralee bay comps.

BTW glins in limerick. We have few enough marks as it is without kerry getting another one.
