Grauvell Replacement parts

#1 Post by MAC »

Hi Guys,

Any idea where I can get replacement parts for a Grauvell reel?

If you have a dead Zeus 5000 reel, I'll take it for parts. I am looking for a very small pin that runs along the gear shaft. Part 64 in this PDF.

Hi Mac.

It is a waste of time replacing this part as it is a design fault.Everybody I know (including myself who bought two) has had the exact same problem and even after obtaining replacement reels/parts encountered the exact same problem again.Mine were replaced free of charge with alternative reels by the tackle dealer I purchased them from.In the event they refuse to replace them with an alternative or money back Weymouth Tackle should be able to issue parts as they are the main UK stockist.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info PTP.

I purchased the reel un-used and noticed that the spool was not laying line correctly. After a serious look inside I noticed that this part was bent. I can try straighten it, but it would be handy to get a replacement just in case it breaks.

I'll try to get one of Weymouth Tackle.

Thanks again,

Kev
