fixed spool reels

lads i checked on-line and can pick up a shimano aerlex xs 8000 for £60, its new in a box or can get one loaded with 30lb braid used once for less. would these be a good enough deal?

hi minty ive got the shimano xs 6000,its a really good reel but the ammount of line it holds is small, only 140 yds,but ive cast the whole lot out with a 3oz the 8000 however holds 320yds so i would say it is a good buy,the retrive rate on these reels is fantastic,and ive landed a 9lb huss no problems,

cheers man, i've just stuck a bid on a mitchell avo and think i might take the shimano as well wrecked both reels in the last two comp's

I have the exact same reel loaded up with 15lb braid. They are great reels mate. sounds like a decent price from it.
