Could someone please tell me when the mack will be finished ? I haven't seen any recently and wonder if this is down to the appalling weather or if maybe they have finished ?

late september early october,depends which part of the coast you fish,but they have been scarce this year because of the weather which has kept the fish out at sea and of the coastline.

All down to the dirty water fish can not see the lures need to hold fast to the water clears this coming week should be good give it a go.
Last year mack were around of the Waterford coast all year Dec and Jan they feed of the bottom as there is no sprats or sand eel around you will pick them up with fish bait fished hard on the bottom small baits.
