#1 Post by dezzer »

Vessel:shock-waves

Crew:martyn and myself

Duration:10-6

Tide:high to low

Weather:all sorts

Bait:lug rag mack and crab

Rigs:special ones

Results:flounder dab silver eel and poor cod

decided to take a leaf out of barrys book and hit the river with mr screaming reels, launched handy enough and headed to the first mark, martyn was soon in the eels, without me getting a touch, along came my elusive flounder, delighted, off to the next mark and i eventually broke the jinx and had a few eels s,some nice eels came on board, delighted again,at this point the sun cream came out,as it got very hot, forgetting it was july, the next mark produced some big flounder and the next some nice big dabs came aboard to martyn and also a poor cod,all in all a nice relaxed days fishing in quiet good weather, although at one stage we made a bust for the sea,but it was not to be,as wind and whites were rolling up the river,dezzer................
