What rod and reel combo ???

Hi , i just want to hear what people think is the best rod and reel combo for lure fishing, does it need to be expensive or can it be done cheap.
I use mainly a shimano technium 4000 reel and the rod is a wychwood wildrun spin 10ft 20-50g.
What do you think is best ??

sounds like a good set up tim, as for which is best theres so many combinations out there its a hard call, what i use personnelly is a abu conolon 10ft rod an a few different reels to match where im fishing clear/rough, take a look at the gear jimh is using on his website to get a professional view

nah its doesnt have to be to expensive really ,what ya have is a nice set up sure . i personly you a abu 10ft spining for and a little abu 5600 bait caster . probably cost a hundred quid all in and im sure ya could probably get emm cheaper too !
