Hi;
Was digging for lug and came across live sandeels. They were small ones about 2 inches in length buried in the sand. Collected them as I was going. After about 1 hours fishing unsuccessfully with lug I decided to use my same 2 snood paternoster rig and threaded 4 live sandeels on one snood, much the same way I'd put lug on. Then kept lug bait on the other snood. Casted out, about 30 seconds later, bang, a furious take. As I played the bass in I wondered which bait he took. He actually took the live sandeel over the lug.
The way I rigged the sandeel on a paternoster Aberdeen worm hook is not right!!
Question is: which rig is best for small live sandeels like that and how do I put them on?
Many Thanks?

I'd say a running ledger so some kind, as your only going to hook through the mouth and you wont be casting too far id give that a try!
