[b]People myself the son and his friend

[b]Duration app; 12 noon till 5.30ish

[b]Tide dropping/rising

[b]Weather great but some rain

[b]Bait mac,squid,herring,sandeel, and ended up with blue's

[b]Rigs pullys

[b]Results two thornie's

[b]Report dident want to travel to far so went to fahan for a session, have had a few sessions here over this last couple of weeks and they payed off very well, with my best thornie being over 12lb witch i got just over a week ago. all other rays were in and around 3 to 5lb. but this trip did not go to well, first cast i got in to a very good ray, was just about to clear the water when the snood nipped   i did not even see the ray but a guy at the water's edge seen it and reconded it was in to double figures   things then went very quiet for a while, then i got a slack liner, reeled in to contact with another ray. it was fairly small of just a couple of lb. then the son got one, one of the smallist thornies i have ever seen     after that things just stayed quiet, with not as much as a nibble, then it became a test off will's between me and a dog  the mutt won   and made off with my last mac; another guy who i was talking to, who was fishing to the left of me with his two sons kindly gave me some bluie's and sandeels as he was packing up himself, he got two rays himself, best was app; 10 1/2lb a thumper of a ray. we stayed for another while but no joy, so packed up and headed home for the spud's..
