had a brief session here before and wanted to check it out again. (tho I nearly changed my mind and went to achill after doggies report
)arrived an dug some lug . tried off the rocks onto sand (behind the harbour) here for a good while - not so much as a nibble, moved around to the edge of the beach and got the first flounder on the first cast, the other about 30mins later, then the smallest pollack i've ever hooked. needless to say all came to frozen mack , not a smidgin on my hard earned lug 
happy enough - nice day for it, and hadn't been out in a good while. - also thanks to Rory in the tackleshop in westport for loads of info on the area - cheers matedavy
