Why bother with the boat Dan when there is excellent fishing from the shore around the lough? I would recommend trying different spots other than just Millisle, it's easy to get hung up on our favorite marks sometimes :wink:

yea i know what ya mean dawsey, just wondering if anyone does any really and about the success they have!

mullet tend to keep to shallow areas where there is alot of mud on the sea bed, which would mean estuaries. Some guys have caught golden greys form boats but thats from the far south and there arnt any this far north! Strangford is your best bet!
