Best time for mackerel ?

#1 Post by flynnboy »

Hi

I have been having a great time recently with the mac on evening tides. Can anyone tell me if they come in on all high tides or is it just the evening tides ?

Thanks for any help.

they come into a local harbour every august, never any earlier, they are there at most states of the tide, but just feed on the push as the sprats, sandeels and whitebait move in, they can then be caught on all methods, i get them on general coarse tactics on a feeder rod, GREAT SCRAP!! :!: :!: ..
