edelboy howth 16th july

Peoplemyself and jonaton:

Duration:4hrs

Tide:last 2 hrs of tide

Weather:dull and grey but calm

Bait:fresh macks

Rigs:feathers and tope traces

Results:25 macks 4 dogs 2 pollock and of course the whitning

Report:finally got the boat back out{its been 3 weeks badly needed a fix}headed to the back of irelands eye
there was about 12 small boats all fishing for macks they were scarce got a dozen and headed out to a mark paul [also in howth] had showed me plenty of takes but i think it was all dogs we got 4 good ones after drifting for an hr headed back in
to the island got some pollock and a few more macks we came in happy but still no rays or hounds may be next time
