Havent tried. boat moored in groomsport. thought chances would be good around the tide runs and reefs of the copelands but im just begining to explore the area. Have trolling gear from the states...deep diving lures they use over there for makos and porgies .... winter might be best as water temp is up to 58 degrees now porgies prefer cooler i believe....

also might try around some of the wrecks ... they often seem to get bite offs bringing pollack up from the wrecks in donegal.

keep you updated.

mark.
