Report:arrived at streegah but the wind was howling so i decide to hit mullaghmore harbor.havent fished this place for ages, arrived at the harbor wind wasnt so bad due to the surrounding walls and little choppy water.set up two rods, one for conger and the other for scratching. conger rod baited with mackerel flapper drop just behind the wall, other rod cast a couple yards baited with lug, mackerel and peeler crabs do the business.

Well done on the variety of speicies Zeke. Iwas going to head to Streedagh last night myself but gave it a miss because of the wind. I'm bringing the young lad out tonight to use the lug I dug yesterday and your post just decided the venue. I haven't fished Mullaghmore for ages something drastic must have happened in the meantime I've never heard of so many species being caught there. Well done again.

Cheers
Shane

mullaghmore harbor looks good for kids but go there around 6 to 7pm coz loads of diving guys using the harbor earlier than time mentioned.lug worms and mackerel will do the business, good luck...

The fact the place was so busy and there was no fish there is why I stopped going there. Think I fished it once this year in March. I caught a few coalies and Mike pulled out some dogs but very little else. We used to fish it loads but just got fed up of the place. Hopefully the young lad will get a few fish tonight.
